We received some horrible news this morning. Carl's mother died suddenly this morning.
Believe it or not, Carl was still trying to work and had to be talked into taking the rest of the day off. Thankfully, he did. Taking care of himself is the most important thing he can do right now. I never knew Carl's mother, but she must have been pretty awesome because she raised an awesome son.
So all of Carl's calls are being re-directed here to me and we don't have anybody here who can do the more specialized support that Carl does because Eugene is away at a training.
I'm sure some of the people who needed that support today were frustrated by not being able to get it. Yet not a single person whined, bitched or moaned about it. Quite the opposite, in fact.
Everyone has been sympathetic, understanding and perfectly willing to wait until Eugene gets back next week.
This is not a surprise to me. I almost never post about the vast majority of our customers who are wonderful people. So I thought today would be a good day to pay tribute to all the kind, decent and good people who happen to be our customers. Thank you.
