As most of you know, our store has the TMAG clocking system where you get an automatic writeup if you are more than 1 minute 59 seconds late in for the day or back from breaks.
Last Thursday was insane...I was Service Coordinator and I was doing my best to keep breaks on time while dealing with long lines and being on lane myself the first 4 hours of my shift. I finally got off lane and had to go to the gas station to do an ending audit on one of the cashiers there. I asked my TL if it was okay if, after I did the audit, I swung thru the Dairy Queen down the street and got my lunch since I hadn't had a break since I got there. She said that was fine and not to punch for my lunch since she didn't want me to use part of my 1/2 hour lunch break doing the audit. So I got to sit down at the restaurant and eat in peace before going back to the madness of Santa Bucks at the store. That was the ONLY break I got that day and I worked an hour of overtime. She put the 1/2 hour lunch in the computer manually later.
This same Team Lead fixed my break on Sunday because I was 1 second late clocking back in after spending a couple of minutes helping a lady find the fruitcake. She said, "I am not going to have any late breaks for ONE Second!"
