OK, I admit....after my years in retail I truly appreciate when employees are friendly and seem to like their job, since I remember how bad it can be, esp this time of year.
My friend and I have both been going through some personal problems, and what better why to get over it then pointless shopping? We popped in to a local outdoor clothing store, and thought we had arrived too late....the manager popped out saying we should come in, plenty of time, we have holiday hours.
The manager and associate were so friendly, chatting about the clothes, competitors online stores, the holidays, my friend and mine past retail experience.....I felt bad, we closed the store (I hate being that last minute person) but it was hard to leave, the were so nice
Most of the employees at that store seem to really like their job.....will have to frequent that store more often.
