My boyfriend bought me underwear that was too small for Christmas, so I had to go to exchange it. It was the 26th, the day o' returns and exchanges.
I went up with the exact same underwear except larger for the exchange. There were two ladies there, and I got the younger lady.
My boyfriend bought me a pair that had no tag. I had the receipt, but the amount was different then the other pair (apparently) that had a tag when she pulled up the numbers. Because the one pair didn't have a tag, it appeared the checker just rang up the one twice, which according to this lady was a no-no. (Not our fault, to penalize us but whatever.) She wanted me to pay the difference, even though it was a Christmas gift. It was a whopping 41 cents. Not thinking I needed my cash, I didn't bring it so I looked over my shoulder looking for my boyfriend who was in line paying for other things.
The other lady saved me. She said that is was only 41 cents and to adjust the rate and just let me have the underwear.
I praise her for seeing I shouldn't be penalized for a no-no done by a checker over something I recieved for Christmas.
