Lovely meal out
Had a birthday lunch out with the parentals in a gorgeous hotel restaurant.
The service was impeccable, the staff were all excellent. A valet met us in the car park with an umbrella and escorted us in. Another staff member took our coats. We the sat in the drawing room by the fire and were offered champagne.
The meal was superb, our personal waitress was charming.
And was struck me was how polite all the other diners were and how pleasant they were to the staff too.
