I went to Lee's Discount Liquor to pick up some brandy and see if they had 50ml of a couple single malts I wanted to try. I try to make a list and know what I want before I go there, otherwise I'll be gawking at all the bottles and worrying about picking something lousy with a big price tag.
Anyway, I get there tonight and for some reason, the hard liquor section is roped off. The employees have to get what you want from that section. Well, I was glad I came prepared. They had one of the single malts I wanted and a bottle of brandy. You'd think that would take more time, but I was in and out in, like, 5 minutes.
Also, the guy who rang me up apparently remembered me from previous ventures.
I may well become a regular. I always liked this Lee's location. Great selection and good prices.
Excuse me, now. I have some brandy waiting for me.
