Store Director Believes Health Comes Before Customers
Today, my store director noticed I didn't look so good and had the girl from bakery cover me. She went with me into the cash room and had me eat some of the glucose tablets I had. I ended up eating 6 of them and the store director had the assistant store director get some soda and a candy bar. I ended up drinking about half the bottle at the time.
The store director mentioned that the next time that happens to step away from the area and not worry about the line. She told me my health was more important.
She even had me go on break after I started to look a little better. Before I went, I made sure the bakery girl signed me off, which she did, and I let the service desk employee know that I was going on break.
