New job new boss, who I'm going to thank when I get back to work.
This woman has arranged the work rota's for me to
A) Do my contracted hours in a long shift at the start of the week,in time frames that are best for me. (this is around other members of staff some of whom are off sick.)
and
B) Effectivly given me the rest of week off so I could attend a family funeral and folowing internment without having worry about anything work related.
The best bit , I never even had to ask for it. She just did it and never said a word.
