I had my first Race Card on Easter.
You can only use a coupon once. That's it. So if you order two burgers, and have a coupon for half off on a burger, you only get the half off discount on ONE burger, unless you have two coupons.
You'd think that was easy to understand, but no. This lady kept insisting I was lying about our coupon policy to her "because she's Chinese".
....Huhwhat?
She kept complaining about the coupon policy, I tried explaining and then when the race bomb hit I was like "Ok, eff this" and got the manager. Who then, when the lady wanted me fired for 'being racist' said, "I'm sorry ma'am, but I'm not going to fire one of our best counter workers over your misunderstanding of the situation."
I know it's just a crappy food service job, but I felt so happy to have a manager do that. A compliment and being defended against a nutso SC? Totally awesome.
