Recently, I had an issue with another Insurance company after my father died. (2007 for those that remember.) Well last year they were repeatedly trying to figure out how to cancel my insurance, and finally sorted out a way to do it. Long story short, first of this year, my insurance got terminated and I had to go hunting.
I bounced around, having a 30 day grace period, but wanting to find a new one quickly, before settling on this local Progressive company. Expecting the worst, I headed over. After a short few minutes of meeting, I'm told that my payment is going to be around seventy five dollars a month, BUT at the end of June, my insurance rate would be readjusted.
The agent said to me "It could go down, it could go up. It just depends on your insurance history and payments with us." So I signed.
I got a letter yesterday that blew me away. My rate had been readjusted. However I was certain there was a mistake, so I ran in and talked with my agent. He's assured me that no, it's not a mistake, my perfect driving record prompted the change, and yeah, it may seem hard to believe, but it's correct.
My insurance payment (Monthly for Liability and accident coverage) went from seventy five dollars a month, down to ten dollars and change. I paid up through the year
I've heard that this company is known for doing things like that, not just to me, but I have to admit for them to go the extra length to help someone like me get insurance, and then to help me get it down to such an insane total...well I can't say enough Kudos!
