i noticed that there are tons of bad parent threads, so i knew i had to post this when i got home tonight.
we had a women and her teenage boys shopping in the store, and nothing seemed suspicious. But about ten minutes after they left, they tromp back in. the mom looks pissed and right off asks for a manager, so we figure uh-oh here it goes, and call the super.
the mother asks to speak to the super in private, so they all pop just inside the stockroom door.
after they talk, the supers runs back to make a phonecall, speaks to the mom again, and the family leaves with the mom looking better.
so, us being all curious, we asked what was up, figuring she was an SC. well, apperantly the boys had decided to help themselves to some sunglasses. without paying. and then were dumb enough to pull them out in the car with their mom there. She hauled them back in the store to make them give back the merch, forced them to apologize to the super, and then told the super to "do whatever she needs to do"
the phone call was made to the major boss, who agreed to let the boys off with a one-time warning, but if they pull it again the cops will be called.
and we all agreed it would probably be worse to call their mom.
