  • Great Manager at Domino's

    Domino's has come to my city, and just opened their first restaurant a month or so ago. I went in (It's takeout/delivery only) on their first or second day and though they were busy the staff was pleasant and the manager was making an effort to make sure things went as smoothly as it could.

    In any case, I got my order, took it home and while it was edible (mmm Cheesy bread), the pizza's were a bit overcooked. I emailed the manager (he had a feedback email sticker on all the boxes) just to give him a heads up about it, not expecting anything in return.

    Well he emailed me back, saying they had discovered the oven problem later that evening (typical opening day glitches) and he'd gladly mail me a coupon for a free meal.

    A week or so later, I hadn't gotten anything, but didn't think anything bad. I decided to go in and give them a second shot anyway, and placed my order. The manager heard my name and came right up to me, saying he knew he owed me a free meal and he hadn't had a chance to mail them yet, but he comped my meal right then and there. I made sure I let him know I appreciated what he was doing, and I certainly hadn't been expecting it. And when I finished my meal, I let him know it was much much better (definitely at the standards I remember Domino's to be from my University days). I've since ordered from there at least two or three more times.

    So Kudos to the Domino's manager and crew at the new Freddy Beach location.
