Mr Refkeila and I went out for a date that ended with a quiet (practically had the place to ourselves!) dinner at Kelseys. Among the many things that brightened the night:
1- Our waitress was quick to get our drinks and bring them out.
2- Another waitress noticed our drinks were empty before the appetiser came (we were thirsty after spending a few hours shopping!) and brought more out for us.
3- The music was a mixture of 50s-90s... 'Respect' came on and we heard the male bartender singing along(bar was a good distance from our table). Gotta love the ones not afraid to burst out into song.
4- Our waitress forgot my side dish and she was more upset about it than I was. She brought it out for me quick and when the bill came she said she comped my dessert because she felt bad. Also, she brought the card machine in case we were paying with cash and chatted with us even after the bill was paid, so we weren't feeling rushed out the door. (It was a very slow period, no one else in the restaurant.)
5- (Left this out last night) When she was getting our plates, she called out the hubby. Direct quote: "You didn't eat your veggies!" LOL!
I wish I could remember her name, she was just that cool.
