It's Holiday Time

So, every year when the holidays roll around, we start getting into things like company luncheons, gift cards, and our annual bonuses (when we get them).

So, yesterday, before checks were handed out, there was a company meeting.

The bosslady did a little math and decided that instead of shelling out to have a big company luncheon the Wednesday before Thanksgiving like she usually does, she'll just double our Holiday gift card for this year.

So, instead of the usual $25 we get for Thanksgiving/Christmas shopping, we got $50!

And the best part is that we'll still probably have some sort of luncheon next Wednesday. It just won't be the full catered thing and will likely just be pizza or something similar.

That is pretty cool, yep. I wouldn't mind having the same deal. There's always someone who brings in snacks near or on the Holidays. No fewer than two of the Jewish peeps working there bring in some assorted Chanukah fewds, (I bring in my Hamentashen around Purim time.) and we already stock the chocolate coins on one of the end-caps. Cool! The bosses have a tendency to bring in boxes of donuts anyway.

Melty Chocolate or some surprisingly good prune filling. The dough is custom, and isn't crumby. I never understood crumby baked goods. Yourself?
