I went to the post office during my lunch break today to mail my dad's present and the bulk of my Christmas cards. It was PACKED--nearly 40 people--but the employees were moving everyone through pretty quickly. I only waited about 15 minutes, and used the time to sort my envelopes into international and domestic, grab a priority mail box and get my dad's gift packaged and addressed.
So the poor weary employee calls my number, and seems relieved that although I have a lot of stuff, I know exactly what i need and none of it is complicated. I, of course, wasn't going to throw a fuss about anything because hello, I'm the idiot that waited until 4 DAYS before Christmas to do this. *headdesk* He even joked with me a little bit and thanked me for understanding about the long wait!
So thank you, Mr. Post Office Employee, for being so helpful!

)a week ago and I took the time to fill out the customs form while waiting in line. She seemed pleased that I had everything filled out, except for an item I forgot to mark. All in all, very smooth, very fast, very efficient.
