  • Great service from an online jewelry supply website

I found a jewelry supply website over the summer, when I first started getting into jewelry. They carry all of the standard stuff that most jewelry supply stores carry, like a wide assortment of beads and charms, findings in various metals and colors, tools like jewelry pliers, etc. They also offer quantity discounts for almost everything they sell; usually 9% off if you order a certain amount, and 19% off if you order even more. Plus, they offered free shipping for any order amount, to anywhere in the U.S. Sounded too good to be true. I wondered if maybe the hitch was that their quality or service sucked.

I placed a small order from them and the order was filled accurately and was shipped very, very quickly and had no problems. Quality seemed fine for what I had ordered, so I started ordering from them regularly.

Once, I ordered a whole bunch of seed beads. I think I ordered about ten different colors, and anywhere from 2-6 bags of each color. So it was a little complicated to fill, I'm sure. When I went through the order, everything was correct except they had sent me an extra bag of one color. I had only ordered three and they had sent me four. I emailed them and asked them if they'd like to just charge me for the extra bag, since I didn't mind paying for it and keeping it. It was only like $1.50. They thanked me for contacting them and told me to keep it free of charge.

Just last night, I got my latest order from them (which, as a side note, I had ordered on I think Wednesday last week so I was worried it would not get here before Christmas -- I was very surprised, and pleased, it came so quickly.) Anyway, this time I had ordered a bunch of little celtic charms. Like the seed bead order, I ordered I think ten different charms, and anywhere from 1-5 of each one. So again, probably kind of a confusing order to fill. Everything was right except one charm, which I had ordered 2 of, was filled incorrectly. It was supposed to be 2 celtic link charm and instead I got 2 silver bar links. I can see where the mistake was made since the names are similar and the item numbers are only one digit off. I emailed them last night and asked if they would like me to send the incorrect item back, and if they could just put a credit on my account for the amount of the celtic link charms, that I'd use on my next order. The charms are so tiny, I didn't want them to have to pay shipping for such a small order.

They emailed me back this morning (very prompt!) and said I could keep the silver bar links free of charge and that they were shipping the celtic link charms immediately! And they apologized profusely for the error.

I am so pleased. I love this shop. Their products are awesome, their prices are good, especially with free shipping, and their customer service is amazing!

        Thank you.

And I just noticed they are the next town over from me. Now I am really glad they don't have a store. That would be very very bad.

Oooh... could you PM me the link, too? My mother & aunt do a lot of beadwork and craft and currently live in the middle of BFE, so an online shop that doesn't charge shipping would be awesome for them.
