So, I walked into work Monday morning, and the manager handed me $10. She said I'd sold a customer a $1,000 winning scratch ticket, and the woman wanted to give me the $10 as a tip for being the one that sold it. Now, many, many times, I've heard the line "if i win, I'll give you some of it" but never in my wildest dreams did I think it would happen. I don't know who the woman is, only a description, but she is a former employee of a rival c-store, and knows what it's like, or so she said. Well, wheover you are, lucky lottery winner, thank you from the bottom of my heart! You made my day!

A couple of years ago, when I was working at the discount tobacco store, I sold a $10,000 winning ticket. When the customer told me he won, my feelings were kind of hurt, as most customers who won fairly large amounts always tipped us. When I came in to work the next weekend, there was an envelope with my name on it waiting for me. Inside was a $50 tip from the customer.
