We deliver to all sorts of different adult shops and the last stop of the tour yesterday was a resort in the middle of nowhere. Basically a farm with special holiday appartments, furnished in a special way with lots of leather etc. They are closed during the winter and had ordered some new dungeon furniture from us.
The roads were already icy and tricky to drive, so it was almost dark when our driver arrived at the farm, after he had unloaded everything it was dark and it had started to snow. Icy roads, heavy snowfall, wind, empty truck, darkness, not really a good combination...
But that was the moment where the owner of the resort said: "We can't let you drive in this weather!" And set him up in their private guest room for the night.
The next morning the roads weren't much better, but at least our driver could see the roads and the mortal remains of several cars in the ditches. That could have been him, but thanks to our awesome customer he was save!
Guess who will not pay for S&H the next time...
