Hope you feel better

The pharmacy techs at my local drug store know me by sight. I've been there so often lately that it's getting ridiculous. I was making small talk with one of the techs as I was picking up yet another prescription and, as she handed me the little bag, she said "I hope you feel better."

Now, in the how many years I've been picking up my own prescriptions, I've never, once, had any of the people working there say they hoped I felt better. I've been in looking like I'm about to die and the most I've ever gotten was "Have a nice day." Which, when you're sick, isn't really going to help.

So, here's to you, pharmacy tech! You made my day.

Yay, I love my pharmacy too-- which is at the local grocery store. Simple and sincere courtesy makes me loyal.
