  • Pharmacy Rocks

The other day I had about 6 prescriptions called in for me by the doctor at 6 PM. The pharmacy closed at 7 PM. It was 20 after 6 when I got there. I knew there was absolutely no way for them to fill all 6 prescriptions, so I asked if they could please just fill the one controlled medicine that I needed for that night. Everything else could wait until tomorrow.

They managed to fill it, in spite of the enormous line of people dropping and picking up meds, and they gave me one more reason to love the people at my pharmacy. I may have been the last person they served, and I may have been late to my next errand, but the people at my pharmacy rocked and rolled that night. I mostly expected to be told 'no way' to even filling one script that night(like they were telling others after I got there), so they were awesome. I of course, made sure to have all pertinent ID and payment ready to go, and walked away from the window at exactly 7:00:27 PM.

    PART 2:
The next evening, when I picked up the remainder scripts, apparently a sucky customer was waiting in the line behind me. The two ladies checking people out at the pharmacy window were muttering to each other about the 'gentleman' waiting and who was going to have to take him. The lady that was ringing me up, jokingly said that she was just going to stand there with her hands on my bag because she was sure that I had some questions about the medicine. Thankfully, I was paying some attention, and told her to take as long as she needed.

Now, you'll get at least one thing done today
