  • LL Bean Customer Service Rocks!

    I called LL Bean's Customer Service today to do a quick exchange on a pair of shoes. I ordered my usual size, but they were too small.

    I got what has to be the best CS experience I've ever had over the phone.

    One ring, and the rep picks up. Live voice. Real person. No computerized menus. Clear English, obviously native speaker (New York accent).

    She was terrific. Confirmed my address and identity quickly, asked what I wanted to exchange for (the right size), confirmed the order and expected delivery date. Pleasant and personable the whole time. Total time on the phone, less than five minutes.

    They say that God only gives us what we can handle. Apparently, God thinks I'm a bad ass.

    heh, i wore a 1930s hudson bay blanket coat that I inherited from my grandmother in, and they fixed the pocket and zipper for me =)
    EVE Online: 99% of the time you sit around waiting for something to happen, but that 1% of action is what hooks people like crack, you don't get interviewed by the BBC for a WoW raid.
