My friend Alli and I went to IHOP. They were without a busser and running between tables to clean and get the orders out. The table next to mine was a very sweet couple who ordered to omelettes. One was a Veggie and one was Colorado. The cook, who my friends & I call Mommy C, was cooking and she misread Colorado as Country Omelette.
She didn't realize her mistake but the waitress did. She apologized to the couple and the man who ordered it said, "No big deal. I'll take the Country, not point in wasting it."
The waitress said she'd take the drinks off and he laughed, "It's okay. It's the same price. I'm not getting screwed. Leave the drinks on."
See, customers like that are NICE.
