  • Best constant service YOU'VE gotten

    Folks, what the best service you've ever received not just once but on a constant basis? The place I enjoy is Chik-Fil-A. I have taken the time out to thank the manager for the cashier's attitudes and helpfulness as well. I've done it mostly there but at restaurants and retail establishments as well. They take their time out to go beyond wheat i need, so i do the same to put in a good word and make their day.

    Where have you had outstanding service on a constant basis?

    Well it used to be the sporing goods section of one of the area's walmarts but that guy got fired which was a shame because he actually knew stuff about hunting and firearms and the real shocker how to manipulate the system to receive cases of ammo (100 boxes) while the other stores were just getting several boxes along with relaying information to his customers as when they should stop in to get what they wanted.

    Other than that off the top of my head I can only think of places I hate going
    I'm sorry reading is not a new concept it has been widely taught in our nation for at least the past 100 years. Please, learn to do it CORRECTLY before you become contagious.

      When I was at college, I ate at the restaurants on campus, and went to the same places every day.

      Starbucks and Taco Bell employees quickly remembered me and my order (always the same thing), and would often have it punched in before I reached the counter. ^^

      Same thing at a Burger King in the parking lot of my job's offices before we moved. I'd go... pretty much every day, actually, and sometimes my order would be READY before I even paid for it.

        I love shopping at Ikea - the staff leave you alone unless you actually need help and when you do they bend the very fabric of space and time to get you what you want, I've never had anything less than superb service there.
        A PSA, if I may, as well as another.

          There's a KFC close to my house that had fairly slow service but it's only because they were constantly understaffed. But even with that the staff was always extremely pleasant. They actually smile at you when you step up to the counter to order. Even when other customers are being sucky. Unfortunately in the interest of losing weight I had to stop the fast food thing altogether so no more KFC. The only other place with extremely outstanding service has been the comic book shop closest to my house. In general most comic book shops are great but this one in particular is awesome.

            My local post office has always been good as has the Wal-Mart where I shop, also my local Wendy's and Barnes and Noble.

              The Qdoba near my house is great. They remember our orders and are very friendly. Of course, we've been going there longer than most of the staff has worked there at this point.

                Borders. I love going in there, the staff has never ONCE been grumpy (And with some of the SC's I've seen & read about, that's pretty good!)
                And Macy's. I like them. Friendly but not intrusive.

                  The Quiznos on my campus and the Mrs. Winners near where I live always give excellent service.
                  I've told the managers on multiple occasions, I've emailed corporate to compliment them, and I always thank the staff for the great service they give. I get coupons all the time from them too.

                    I LOVE Qdoba! I usually get the same thing every time I go in, and sometimes when my brother is in the area, we go there for lunch. They've gotten to the point where they know my order. And one visit they even gave my brother and I chips and pico for free, not even asked for it.

                    But that's not even the best service I've gotten. This goes to Subway. They changed management so I don't get that kind of service anymore. They would:
                    1. Rememebr my regulars and usually ask which one I'd like to order. They even got to the point of being able to remember my veggies.
                    2. 10% Discount every time I ate there.
                    3. After submitting a compliment online through the Subway website, I was given 2 coupons for free 6-inch subs. I was given the coupons in person. They even gave me that sandwich free without expending a coupon. Drink wasn't free, but oh well.
                    To right the countless wrongs of our days... We shine this light of true redemption, that this place may become as paradise...Oh, what a wonderful world such would be...

                      There is a small greasy spoon diner place near where I live, and being as that I work overnights, it's a great place to stop in before going home. Many a time I would pop in and just say hi to the one girl that works there and she always without fail would ask if I wanted breakfast, and if I ever told her no (never giving a reason), she'd always say that if it's because I was broke or something that it'd be on the house.

                      Also if I ever get anything besides the special (2 eggs, homefries and toast) and coffee, for example I got a raw veggie pita and iced tea, she would give me my drink for free! Always excellent service and always friendly and take time to chat.

                      Plus it helps that they are fairly laid back. One morning she got expectantly busy, and I wanted a refill for my coffee, so I asked if she wanted me to go refill the customers' drinks and take any orders for people that just walked in, and she told me sure, so i was able to help out and get my own coffee! Now, she says I can go and get my own anytime I want and not have to wait, though I rarely need to take her up on her offer as she's awesome about keeping up with folks.

                        The place is a very popular Bar & Grill near where I live. The food is good, but the service is outstanding. I have often seen the owner and the table busser jump onto a table just vacated, and the 2 of them working together get it spick and span within seconds. Everyone who works there helps everyone else. Once my sister sent a drink back because it tasted like only mixer was is it. We overheard the waitress: "These customers never complain, so if she complained, it is wrong!"
                        To seek it with thimbles, to seek it with care;
                        To pursue it with forks and hope;
                        To threaten its life with a railway share;
                        To charm it with forks and hope!

                          The IHOP near my sister's house has always given awesome service, the waiters and waitresses there always go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. I have never experienced service that good at any other IHOP.

                          The Caribou Coffee near my work recognizes me on sight and will start preparing my usual order (two large mochas, one with extra espresso) when I come in, despite the fact that I sometimes only make it in there once a month. Anybody who can be that cheerful at 5:30am deserves props anyway.

                          The Taco Bell near my house deserves an honorable mention, while every third time or so, the cashier rings my order wrong, they will ALWAYS be willing to get me my proper order at no extra expense, and will usually let me keep the wrong items (even if I try to give them back)
                          I've worked fast food management before, I understand that these things happen. The way they handle these goof ups really shows how important customer service is to their business, and their levelheaded, cheerful demeanor while fixing things means a lot.

                            When Mrs. Frantic & I travel we never eat at chains,we look for little local places that have lots of cars,like the Chaos Cafe in Artesia,New Mexico.We'd no sooner sat down than the waitress was there with water & asking if we'd like coffee,which came in literally seconds & was excellent (we're not coffee snobs,but we are picky about it).
                            The food there is fantastic,I had the cheese,jalapeño & onion omelette with,get this,shredded brisket on top! That & a bowl of excellent frijoles & homemade flour tortillas & I was full the rest of the day

                              The Quiznos by my office, knows me on sight, well the owners do, so they make sure that one of them (usually the husband) actually makes our sandwiches b/c unfortunately i have pay for each one separately....

                              The Chick-fil-a near the office also is awesome - one day I went to get lunch just for me and so was using the drive through; there was a L I N E and there were 2 managers outside taking orders, leap-frogging down the line of cars, and radioing it inside - the squawk box was disabled, and by the time you got to the front of the line your order was ready and all you had to do was pay... they were working so fast and efficient; and it pleased me to see that it was the mangers who went outside;

                              Ooh, and also the Starbucks drive through by my office - i don't go there often, its expensive, but I'd been talking to Lupo about wanting an Iced-Soy-Pumpkin-Chai-Latte, so i decided to see if they'd do one... so that's what i ordered, and while i floored them at first (NO COFFEE? wtf?) the girls actually told me how to order it so that it saved me money (Milk(soy) w/ Chai and Pumpkin; as opposed to a Chai latte w/ soy and pumpkin) and the next time i ordered it, someone else asked me if i wanted A or B, and i said, which ever is cheaper, and so A is how it read on my receipt!
