I just wanted to mention this story. 
So, I check out a lot of library books. A LOT. Like right now, I have...*checks* 66 books out. And that's kind of low for me.
Naturally, all these books were scattered around my room. Well, I had to move into my dorm room and a few of my library books got left behind. I could have SWORN I got them all, but...you know? It's hard to tell.
So I was trying to find this book that was overdue. I'd searched my whole dorm room and it was NOT there. That meant either I'd turned it in and something went wrong [which has happened a few times before], or it was at home. I searched at home, but my room has now become the storage dump for anything my parents don't want around, so it's a little hard to search through. And I need to go to the library, anyway.
I get there and have to talk to a librarian about it. And she was super awesome. I don't know if it's also because I've been going there since I was 11 and I'm super responsible about books, but she ended up overriding the overdue notice and the fact I'd renewed it before and gave me another renewal on it. And was really nice about it.
So yay for nice librarians who understand when patrons lose stuff!
P.S. I found it the next week. It was hiding by my bed at home.
