I had a great caller yesterday though. While helping her with one of those horrid charges that some companies sneak on to cards, we talked about how she always checks her statement carefully as soon as it arrives. I commented she would be surprised how many people never check, just pay and figure it out a year or more later that they've paid $10 or $20 a month for so long. and they can't dispute more than about 3 of the charges because of the time frame.
Her reponse was "They are so stupid!!" I said something like "I can't say that." and she replied, 'I know, but I can and it's true!"
