... So my last customer can officially be canonized as a saint. She purchased a laptop for her daughter (who was with her) and even bought extra service/protection for it (which is good for us).
Unfortunately, they were my last customers of the day and I helped them out right before I should have clocked out. Apparently, my mental capacity to work a register properly had already gone out the door and it took three redos and half an hour to finally get her all rung up - 75% of the issues being little mistakes on my part and 25% being annoying issues with our register system.
The woman was very patient, sweet and understanding and still genuinely thanked me for my help at the end of the transaction. I thanked her for her patience and apologized at least two or three times for my epic levels of derp. So, thank you so much random customer woman for being very patient and awesome with this tired retailer. I wish more customers were like you!
