  • These customers have Holiday Spirit

So as a few of you know, I posted earlier in the week about a customer who was so bitchy to me, I cried. Well i didn't get any more of those this week. In fact, I got the exact opposite. Here is a list of awesome things customers have said to me and my coworkers this week.
    • In my opinion, if the customer can't be cheerful with you, then they should just stay home.
    • You are amazing. You are a cheerful, intelligent, and wonderful cashier. Don't let the jerks get t you.
    • Some people are just going to be assholes. Ignore them, they aren't worth you time.
    • Would you like me to get in another line, so you can go on your break sooner?
    • Oh, you look tired, dear. Have a candy cane!
    • Some people are just miserable, and want to bring everyone to their level. Don't let it happen to you.
    • Merry Christmas I hope you get a break soon.
    • Merry Christmas, I hope you get to be home with your family soon.
    • Dear, if a mean customer is upsetting you remember two things. 1) It's almost Christmas, and 2) Today is your last day.

I concur with the kind words people have shared with you. As hard as it may be, you cannot let people's shitty moods get to you. You can only do your job the best you can. You don't control the weather/the time/the products/etc.

        And it's all true.
Customers should always be served . . . to the nearest great white.
