  • Coming In During Bad Winter Weather

Today we had a lot of snow. Enough snow that I would not have felt safe driving in. Anyhow work called and asked if I would be able to make it in. (Note my work is very understanding if you don't feel safe driving on the roads.) So I ask hubby what he thinks. He says he can drive me to work. *Sidebar*He's driven in a lot worse winter conditions.

I just wanted to say how cool my work is about this. I might have had one or two people who got mad but meh whatever. With people posting about how thier bosses say get to work or else, it's nice that someone cares about safety.
Take this job and shove it. I ain't workin here no more.

We are still in blizzard conditions, and every branch of hubby's company in NJ. NY and Mass are closed or delayed, and here in CT nothing .... work as normal.

I just saw footage of RT91 north of Hartford and it looks like it hasn't even been plowed.

He has a 50 mile each way commute.

I am not happy about the issue.
EVE Online: 99% of the time you sit around waiting for something to happen, but that 1% of action is what hooks people like crack, you don't get interviewed by the BBC for a WoW raid.
