  • To those at the Seafare of Williamsburg

Somewhat last minute my mother and brother decided to visit me for Christmas as I would be working that evening and unable to travel to see them. They made their room reservations less than two weeks in advance and were scrambling to plan what they were doing. By chance I had been chatting with a friend at our concierge desk about my mom's trip and she mentioned that you were open for Christmas dinner. I called without much hope and asked if you had any reservations available and you were able to get me a table, 7:30 I couldn't have asked for a better time.

Christmas Day came and despite the weather being a bit iffy you were still open. I wasn't there so I can only say what was relayed to me but what I heard is enough to bring quite a smile to my face. From start to finish the dinner couldn't have been better. The server knew how to be extremely polite with the formability that a nice dinner deserves wile still being playful and fun enough to avoid things being stuffy. The food was excellent from start to finish, my mother even said that the swordfish was the best she could remember having. Even my brother who can be rather critical couldn't find fault with their experience.

I just want to say that I took a leap of faith, never having eaten at the Seafare and not knowing a thing about what you were doing for Christmas dinner, and sent my mother and brother into your hands. You took excellent care of them and I hope to make a visit soon myself.
