Devious plotting daughter

I like this girl.

Just checked in a mom and her daughter. The mom figured that the weather was getting too bad, so they stopped for the night.

Mom: "Besides, my daughter was like, 'If we stop in <town>, we can go to improv!'"

Daughter: "We should go to Boomer's, too!"

Me: "Yeah, they're still having their anniversary special where all burgers are $2.89."

Mom: "I think she has an entire agenda planned for tonight. The weather and my daughter are conspiring against me!"

Devious, yes, but it sounds like Mom didn't mind and had a good sense of humor about it.

Actually, stopping in a hotel to escape the unsafe weather, and getting a great deal on dinner sound like reasonable ideas to me.
