Pizza Hut

Started out suckage, but turned out great.

So we do the online order thing (I admit, can be a mistake)..and order a Pan Pizza. Total for a $10 special is 11.96 not counting delivery. Odd, but ok. Since it is a block and a half from us, don't see spending 2.60 more for delivery.

I go to pick it up, no pizza. They were out of Pan pizzas. Great. Well these things happen, and I go to leave. No harm no foul. They ask me to wait a minute, and offer thin crust. Hmm not a fan of thin crust, but me want pizza. Ok. So I wait till the thin crust is done and get out my money. Figuring since it wasn't a special would be a bit more. No. They want me to take it free.

Now I am not a proud person, so somebody offers me yummy food for free..I will take it, but I tell them "Well I don't mind paying.."

They insist, and I walk out the door with a yummy FREE pizza.

No, really though. That doesn't sound out of the ordinary really. I mean, you ordered it online, and then when you get there they are out. Those silly internet ordering things don't always know that a place may be out.

All that being said, that's rather nice of them to give it to you for free. As i take it, you would have been happy even with a partial discount since it was their mistake.

Hey, if anything...they did their job right. It's going to make you think again about ordering Pizza Hut. Let's hope that you have many more happy stories from them.

Many happy returns to that Pizza Hut. Yet another reason they're my favorite pizza place.

This Pizza Hut especially has been kinda awesome. I made a mistake on where to send one and got a fresh one when I arrived (not free mind, but I would have been fine with the cold one that went to the wrong place). I did insist on paying the delivery charge that time, but most of the time they are awesome.
