I love you guys. Seriously. Your place smells divine and when I leave I smell of exotic spices, and you are all the most polite, wonderful people ever. Your service is exemplary, and that one young man that seats us is especially easy on the eyes. It makes my dining experience quite enjoyable when he pulls out my chair for me.

Recently you made a special mango lassi for my bitchy fussy supervisor without any sugar. It made my day, truly, because I didn't have to listen to her bitch about how I got to have one but her diet wouldn't let her have one. I did not even know you had Splenda in the back, but now I do.

Also, I really enjoyed our in-depth conversation about cricket and why M.S. Dhoni is not only a legend, but also possibly a god. And the complimentary raita you brought me afterward was the best I have ever tasted.

Speaking of the aroma of Indian restaurants, Mrs. IA and I used to frequent several restaurants on the north side of Baltimore several years ago. One evening as we were approahing a favorite restaurant, we were overcome with the smell of Indian cooking. As familiar as we were with the area, we could not figure out where an Indian restaurant could be. After a few minutes, the answer came to us. McCormicks has a factory nearby. They were making curry, and when they vented their stacks, the armoa permeated the surrounding area.

I love Indian Food. This post reminds me so much of my favorite local spot. Family owned and it always smells heavenly when you walk in. They also know my mom and I as well as our order by heart.
