It's actually McDonald's policy to "roll people ahead" to wait for food that takes a moment to make/cook.

So I handed out these people's meal last night, and told them that we were making their salads, and it would just be moment. So Mary made them really quick, and they were brought out. Not too long later, we got a phone call.

Of course we're expecting, "you forgot my blah, blah, blah." But instead, it was the salad people, they had called to tell us that those salads were amazing, and the best they ever had from there.

Made Mary's night. lol
