One of our long-term guests (she's been with us for about 4 months) makes dreamcatchers to sell for money. She makes gorgeous ones, with lots of fur and feathers.
She's been having trouble paying her bills. We've been working with her, but it's Boss Man's last night, and the person coming in temporarily isn't going to let anyone slide. So she's leaving tomorrow.
She made me a purple dreamcatcher (purple is my fav color). It's a small one, but could easily sell for $20-30. And it's so pretty! It has purple and pheasant feathers, a small bit of fur, metal flower and dragonfly charms, and a little pink stone. I'll try and post pics of it later once I get it hung up.
I love it. I'm going to hang it up somewhere nice!
She's sold dreamcatchers to other employees. I never had enough money. For her to give me one...it's just awesome of her! I wish I had some cash on me or something. All I could do was give her lots of creamer from our stash so she could make coffee in order to stay up and make another one for another CW.
I'm going to miss her. And her daughter (my little minion). They're setting up a stand to sell dreamcatchers at a gas station nearby tomorrow. I'll see what business I can send their way.
