Seriously.
I've been delayed getting to some projects in queue, and confessed to Awesome Client that I was working as hard as I could, and that I know people are getting antsy. He asked what was going on, and I explained I had another person in queue who was getting close to Cursing Me Out stage, and Awesome Client graciously offered to delay their project so I could get the other guy out of the way first.
I was shocked, asked if they were sure, and he said "I'd rather have you happy and unpressured by someone breathing down your neck, so you can do your best on our project. Besides, you've always done magnificent work for us in the past, we trust you completely."
I literally choked up.
