I was in the local Mart of Wal recently to replace a number of items lost in the fire; clothing, bedding, shoes, dishes, silverware..okay, I was replacing a LOT of items lost in the fire.
I had filled 4 carts, and went to the service desk because I felt it was too much to ask for other customers to stand behind me while I did a mammoth checkout. The service manager kindly opened a lane just for me, and checked me out, to the tune of over $2k.
I found, a few days later, that I needed to return some of these items, because they were the wrong size, color, etc. By this time the receipt had gone to the insurance company, and I felt that it would be difficult. However, the manager remembered me, the returns were less then $100 total, and as she told the desk clerk, "If this is all she's returning, I don't care if it's even bought at our store!"
Thank you Service Manager at WalMart for making my life a little easier!
