Wow.
Just, wow.
Had to contact someone today regarding the fact they violated the TOS on their premade template today in multiple places. This *usually* results in the customer promptly freaking out, cursing, screaming at me, and demanding their money back, me to perform impossible acts, and such stuff.
This guy?
He promptly responded to my email with an apology.
And then IMed me himself, with more apologies, and was extremely polite. He fixed the issues, and said he was sorry he didn't read the TOS, this was all his fault.
/mind. blown.
He did ask how I'd found out, as he'd not even launched his site yet, and I explained that I have a loooot of connections with the advertisers, and that they'd let me know about it when they were reviewing his application. (They'd thought his site was pirated from one of my works, it was changed that much) He was surprised, said it must be nice to know people like that, and that was pretty cool of them to be keeping an eye out for me.
We talked for a while, and I was extremely impressed with him, with his attitude, politeness, and the fact that he did ask if he could make a couple tiny changes to it. Not only did I say sure, but I offered that if he needed a referral on his apps to the advertisers, I'd be willing to talk to them. He's thrilled to pieces.
