I went to get something for lunch, and stopped in this new bakery/cafe that just opened up
got to the counter, told them its to go, placed my order...
sat down and waited, and then a girl comes out from the back with 2 bags in her hands, and hands me one...
I get back to the office and ... hmmm i didn't think i ordered the paninni... i don't remember there being zucchini in the description .... that's not chicken... Ok, I got the wrong sandwich
called them up, explained "I think my order got switched, and I've already eaten half..." "its ok, just bring in what's left, and your receipt"
I drove back over, explained that I had called, and here's the remaining 1/2 of the wrong sandwich....
and the guy called over the mngr, and she oks a replacement sandwich, and then tells them "get her cookies!"
I told her I felt bad, cause they're gonna get another call about the wrong sandwich....
My CORRECT sandwich is yummy, as are the cookies - I also got a 2nd bag of chips, and had ordered a slice of lemon-pound cake with my original order... I now have breakfast and lunch for sat.
I just hope they don't get a "I've been a vegetarian for 10 yrs, and there's chicken on this sandwich, are you trying to kill me, yarg blargle!!!eleventy!!!" call... that would suck.
