Today was hot and HUMID. Drippy humid. Overcast and humid.
I was in the store buying a few things, and noticed a very active little girl running around, though her mother was doing a pretty good job of keeping her in check. As I was standing in line to pay for my groceries, I heard her mother say, "This, or nothing? This, or nothing?" I looked over to see the mother holding up some kind of ice cream treat.
It seems the little girl wanted something else, and she kept insisting on it, while her mother asked the same question: "This, or nothing?"
Finally, she said, "Okay, nothing," and put the treat back in the freezer.
Loud wails followed this statement, but the mother stuck to her decision!
