Free Coke coupons - fantastic wording!

In the UK as part of the Olympics celebration, Coca Cola GB instituted a Free Coke day. You had to apply for the drink yesterday, but they planned ahead really well - you don't need to print the coupon for up to 2 weeks, as that's how long the redemption is valid for. This was to avoid overloading their servers (which did take a hammering but never failed), and has worked out nicely.

I've just printed mine, and I spotted this in the small print:

Please do not attempt to redeem the coupon against the purchase of any other product, as refusal may cause embarrassment and delay at the checkout.

There's just one problem with this...

Most people who try using coupons for the wrong items don't even read the *big* print, let alone small print. So I'm betting people will still try to use these to redeem Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, and toothpaste.

Oh I know, but it was just nice to see it explained in that way... I'm used to seeing it say "only for use on X product" but not the other bit

My only sadness was that I couldn't use it on caffeine-free... But then, no-one stocks that anyway.
