        Oh GOD I wish I could have done that.......... the sheer sweetness of that thought...... and the boss backing it up..... sheer pleasure.....

          This didn't actually happen to me but a coworker told me that when the company sold off some of their older computers to employees at a discount (and when they picked up the machines they were told of any problems they might encounter) they had one lady who had gotten a laptop and had been told it had quite a bit of spyware and needed to be cleaned up that she had proceeded to take it home and put it through a cycle in the DISHWASHER!
          I used to be disgusted... Now I'm just amused

              What?! Yesh, some people... everyone knows laptops need a good, hard scrubbing with a metal brush in a tub of hot, soapy water, especially the screen!

                and don't forget to hand wash your CDs in warm water with a SOFT abrasive to keep them nice and shiny!

                        But then they don't make nearly as pretty mobiles! I seem to remember not so long ago a really amazing scupture of a life size horse made entirely out of AOL cds so at least there is some use for them.
