Well I'm pretty sure everyone's dream is to go back in time in their flying car and goto outer space on a vacuum cleaner.

I don't hate or love Microsoft, I just appreciate that Windows is what it is, good or bad, no matter what evil things happened to make it. I just love it when a customer who does have some computer experience wants to rag on Microsoft during a call, like everyone sympathizes and hates Microsoft with a passion.

BTW, now that I have Vista and have played with it a few days... What's the big deal? It took years of development and we got this? We got Windows XP with a Mac GUI, renamed a few programs, and reorganized the Control Panel. I am not impressed the way I was with XP, or even when 95 came out.

Smart people

Just because the people are super smart and can engineer super smart things doesn't mean they can handle simple problems. I have gone on calls like that where the person was really good with computers and had a simple problem, and they always feel so embarrassed afterwards.

My friends mother is a Rocket Scientist.. yes a Rocket Scientist and when her husband and kids where gone for the week she called me up several times to help her turn on and off her TV/Satelite/Surround/Sound/DVD Player... she had about 6 Controllers to do this... when I teased her about it she would say Can you build a rocket and fly it into space? HA! Didn't think so!
