Missing Recycle Bin

Guy calls on my line, now my job we support our Cable, Voice and Internet services. I being the nice rep I am will go out of my scope to help customers rather than just shrug them off. One exception if they are nice about it and not blame us for it and yell at me. But this one shocked me cause I had no idea it was possible.

Me: Thank you for calling Technical Support how can I help you?
Guy: I think I deleted my Recycle Bin Icon
Me: You what? Thats odd I never thought was actually possible.
Guy: Yes, I do not know what I did.
- Queue googling up the message cause I was at a lost-

Turns out that he was using Vista and somehow turned it off in the desktop settings.

Oh, it certainly is possible to remove it through the desktop, but you can't delete it. That takes some stupidity skill to do though, since there are a few hoops to jump through to get that done. They hide it just enough that most people can't do it accidentally.

I had a friend that claimed she "recycled the recycle bin." Yea, I really don't think that's possible. But funny, nonetheless.
