  • Email for dummies?

I am putting together a FAQ/troubleshooter for our website to *hopefully* alleviate some of the asinine support calls we get ( for example: "I emailed someone@(nonexistent or incomplete domain name) and it bounced! Your email sucks, I'm gonna sue!!!" and the oh-so-wonderful 1 1/2 hour hold-my-hand-and-repeat-everything-10-times-while-I-set-up-Outlook-Express-every-other-day calls)

I need to know if there's a resource already out there, and legally usable, or if I have to write it myself.... Is there? Please tell me there is..

No, you have to FIX it before it will work again...

That one is easy, tell them to stick with snail mail (you might have to clarify USPS, BTW)

Hee hee....I just had a picture of some SC tying a note to a snail, St. Bernard-style, and sending it off.

        hey Carlyn

if you PM me, i can send you a little email manual i typed up for my students. You might need to remove some stuff from it, but there are a few things in there that might help....

You actually expect people to READ a FAQ?
