Why won't this app install?

I am no very computer literate. I know how to use things but when there is a problem I am completely lost. I have one PC, but for whatever reason the manufacturer segmented the hard drive so that the C drive only had about 10 gigs available. I don't understand why, because I never saved anything to the C drive, but I was constantly having memory issues with it, saying that the hard drive is full. So I came across another PC, brand new. I got it set up and running, now I just need to install some apps. My main hobby right now is Microsoft Jigsaw. But when I try to install the app, I get this message "The version of Windows on your PC does not meet the minimum requirements for this app".

I have completed all updates, everything is current. It's Windows 10. Any idea why it won't work?

Sounds like it wants to be on a Win11 machine.

That might be the problem

I've got Windows 10 Pro version 1809

The requirement is Windows 10 version 19041.0 or higher

Any way around this or a way to update myself?

Windows 10 is no longer officially supported, but I don't know if that means all the old patches they put out are also unavailable; one would hope that isn't the case. Anyway, the above linky should take you to their site that explains it - you shouldn't need to install Windows Updater, it should be included by default on every machine and it's usually harder to stop it from updating than it is to apply updates. It loads with Windows 11 info displayed, click the Windows 10 header above the text to switch.

Give that a try, and if it doesn't work then there should be websites that have the missing updates still stored somewhere. Then it's just finding a reputable one (and I don't do PC much anymore so I can't think of any offhand).
