On the other hand, people who don't understand computers don't always know what a 'firefox' is anyway... since they just click the blue e to download the internet.
I couldn't have said it better myself.

On your developing bad habit, though, I'd suggest doing what I do:

If I want to go back to a site, I simply drag that little icon next to the URL down to the "Hot-bar" just below it. When the bar gets full, at about 12 links or so, I move all but the most frequently used to the regular Bookmarks folder.

I find myself with the bad habit of relying on the history to find a webpage again and again and again (including this one) until I finally realize "hey, I should probably bookmark that".
oh I'm guilty too... I love being able to just type in "board" on the awesome bar and be taken to the CS threads.

There, edited it for you. At least, that's what everyone around HERE calls it if they don't know exactly what it is, including the ever infamous AAFH2

I find the history feature very useful, but I use it in a "completion" manner which reinforces the memory of the URLs. And there are a lot of URLs I visit regularly!

IE does something similar for me.

It doesn't seem to be based on Favorites or History, but certain sites I have visitied will show up as options for completing the word.

Usually, it will forget a site I really like if it has been more than a week since I've been there, and remember every single site I have ever visited that had an embarassing URL.
