A while back, the IT portion of our HR department (they have their own crew for HR apps) set up phone-in meetings/web-based conferences for a new application and sent out emails to those who were selected from each plant to be the point-person. The application is time tracking for the plant personal. Fairly important stuff.
The email was sent out early July and had in BIG BOLD RED LETTERS, respond by July 24 to reserve a slot on the conference.
I JUST NOW received an email in the helpdesk inbox asking what the times, dates and phone numbers were for this...
Rather than respond myself, I passed the ticket (all inbound emails to the helpdesk inbox automatically create a trouble ticket...) to the HR team. I just don't have the heart to respond myself....
