Well, I started college.
ITSC = Instructional Technology Support Centre
If you don't buy your laptop from them, they give you 15 minutes per year of assistance, which is normally fine. Except that their site says that the print server is "xprint". I go to \\xprint, it is not found. Turns out that they added .sheridanc.on.ca to the end of the surver names but didn't update the manuals on the website, which means I can now print from home
Too bad I have to login to print, or I would torture them
My laptop initially didn't register when their software checked it (basically it checks the specs then inserts my MAC ID into their database). Problem:
Video RAM - Requirement 0 MB - Available 128 MB
I fixed it by upgrading to XP Pro. Yup.
They also always have a half hour line to talk to someone.
