Wait, they tried to install a printer in WHAT??

Not to look bad, the same group sent another ticket to my local group, which got sent to me.

A computer needs to be reloaded with Windows XP. No big dfeal but one issue..

The asset # that they sent me belongs to another printer.

Anyone know how to install XP on a printer?

My Company's work order/help desk system used to include ID and non-it stuff i the same system. It Assets were say 1xxxxx, vehicles were 2xxxxx refrigeration/HVAC was 3xxxxx, except they never make sure the request was valid. We had the IT guy show up at our store to fix the printer with the asset tag 31587, which was a freezer. The reason he came so quickly it si was broken freezer and they never dispatched a HVAC tech.

Now the IT help desk is separate from all others.
