Yeah - he called again. Of course, I got him.
Thankfully, this was a domain that he had moved to Another_Company. I managed to transfer him, but not after he had threatened me with a lawyer 3 times. Oh well - at least this encounter was nowhere near as bad as before.
What I discovered, however, was that while he had created a hosting account with the other company, he had attempted to transfer his domain AFTER it expired.
Oops. He shouldn't have done that.
His domain is now in redemption with the registrar. It has been for some time. The registrar charges a hefty fee to get it out of redemption, however, after a few weeks, they do eventually release it to the public.
Where a friend of mine will be waiting to order it for like 2 bucks.

-if he wants his precious domain back since it's in really short supply.....I think the going price for a limited edition-one of a kind domain is around 5-10 grand maybe...........
